About us
Why AccurateCount exists
AccurateCount was founded after working with hundreds of independent retailers and seeing the same problems repeat: POS systems filled with products stores no longer carry, and shelves stocked with items never recorded in inventory software. These data hygiene issues lead to lost profits, wasted time, and prevent retailers from making confident business decisions.
When inventory isn't accurate, business owners can't confidently restock, reduce shrinkage, or plan for growth. We've seen stores lose tens of thousands of dollars a year simply because their inventory data was outdated or incomplete. Our mission is to help small businesses get organized and stay profitable through accurate, verified inventory data.
We take a service-first approach: on-site physical verification combined with POS-ready catalog cleanup. We currently serve South Florida only (Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach), allowing us to provide responsive, hands-on service to every client.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Do you only work in South Florida?
Yes, we currently serve South Florida exclusively—specifically Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties. This focused service area allows us to provide responsive, hands-on support and flexible scheduling for every client.
What is the benefit of doing an inventory accuracy reset?
The primary benefit is accuracy. Knowing exactly what you have in stock is the foundation of a profitable retail business. An accurate count allows you to reduce shrinkage by identifying missing products, increase profitability by restocking best-sellers confidently, and ensure your POS system reflects reality.
Will this disrupt my daily business operations?
Not at all. We offer flexible scheduling—including afternoons, evenings, and weekends—specifically so your store stays open and your customers aren't affected.
How long does a typical inventory count take?
Most stores require multiple scheduled visits over 1–5 weeks depending on store size and SKU count. Small stores (under 1,000 SKUs) are typically completed in 1–2 weeks, while larger stores may take 3–5 weeks. We'll give you a clear timeline during your consultation so you know exactly what to expect.
What POS systems can you work with?
We have direct experience with many common POS systems including Square, Lightspeed, Clover, Shopify POS, NRS, and more. Our deliverable is a clean import file that works with virtually any system that accepts CSV imports.
What exactly do I receive after the service is complete?
You receive two key deliverables: 1) A POS-ready import file that updates your inventory to reflect the true stock on your shelves. 2) A complete digital copy of the final count in spreadsheet format for your records.
How does your pricing work?
Our pricing is straightforward and based on the estimated number of unique SKUs and the general size of your store. After a brief consultation to understand your needs, we provide a firm, flat-rate quote so there are no surprises.
